Every society has superheroes. These are ours.
They form the vision for our main shows. They support us, they challenge us, they protect us. They encourage our good artistic choices, they guide us away from bad artistic choices, and pull us back from the brink of woeful artistic choices. They are the first person to arrive, they are the last to leave. They show the patience of saints as we stumble through early rehearsals, they push us to better during the later rehearsals, and they stay calmness personified in the excitement of show week.
They deserve most of the credit for everything that goes right (and we owe them nothing but apologies for things we get wrong).
